I have just received a very interesting and cute postcard from Yunching. Haha...man, it's totally suitable to wish me a happy birthday cos' I almost forgot that I have achieved victory to so exist now. "Erster" is what I got. It's a honour. It's a life-long achievement. Hmm...maybe you don't get my meaning. Well, you should look at the postcard yourself.

I'm the ERSTER

Anyway, my cousin, Jasmine, has just attained her driving licence. And now I look forward to have both of us to take turns to drive around in our dads' cars or even drive in our own cars! Seriously, it isn't cheap or easy to attain a driving licence or even riding licence over here. Many people don't pass their theory test and practical tests at the first attempt. So to people, who have yet to attain any driving or riding licence, please be calm and cool before attempting the tests. I'm sure you'll be fine then. Okay? Easy right? Hehe...

Okay, it's getting late now. I better go and pack my stuffs and then rest early for school.

The past two days were busy but great to me. Well, I went borrowing books from the school's library, catching up with my friends and also chilling out. Haha...about borrowing books from the school library, it's actually for two main reasons: to find reference books for my written assignment and to find Dan Brown's books for leisure reading. Oh, Dan Brown's books are difficult to find in the library's book shelves, especially The Da Vinci Code. But luckily I managed to find Angels and Demons on the Just Returned book shelf. And instantly I took it with me to borrow. Wow, the feeling is so great as if I have just accomplished a great task.

Finally Angels and Demons !!!

As for catching with friends, I had met up two groups of friends for the past two evenings. The former group is my ex-colleagues from CPF Board while another is Huixin, Lijuan and Huiteng. My ex-colleagues and I had went to Suntec City's Kenny Rogers to have dinner, following with chats before walking to Clark Quay to chill out. The chill out wasn't that successful for my part as I got to go early due to early lessons on the next day. However, I think the gathering was great as we finally had went to chill out together. As with Huixin, Lijuan and Huiteng, we went to Westmall's Mayim to have dinner first. Man, the food there was surprisingly good, especially its dry noodles. Then, we went around the shopping mall to look out for good deals. Finally, we settled down at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to have our iced blended drinks, cafe latte and cakes and continue chatting. Haha...like Lijuan says, it's always great to meet up old friends. Anyway, the three girls are so lovely to give me a handmade card with a picture of a car sewn and pasted on with a nice Converse sling bag. Man, I thank you three again. Superb.

My birthday presents from my dear friends

And now it's Saturday. I got to go and catch some sleep while I'll be attending Basic Photography Workshop later with my Photography Club. Hmm...weekend has come.

Well, it's my birthday again. I'm now one year older. And I didn't do much to celebrate it. Perhaps I'm sort of running out of ideas to plan my own mini celebration. Anyway, no plans doesn't mean bad plans. After all, I have no time schedule to follow, other than the school timetable. I'm on my own. I can go around without restrain. Haha...of cos, there are times I can't make up my mind to go which direction, making me like a fool standing among the flow.

Anyway, I'm thankful to receive blessings from quite a number of my friends. The words from them make me feel worthy. Haha...I'm blessed. Awfully blessed.

Oh, I almost forget to mention about last Saturday's NPCC chalet at Costa Sands (Downtown East). Man...I must say that the whole lot of people, which includes me, had enjoyed it very much. The girls met early to eat MacDonald's breakfast before meeting the guys at the MRT platform an hour later. And then we all set off to Pasir Ris to buy the necessities at White Sands before checking in to our room at about 1.30pm. While in the room, we played mahjong on the bed, prepared the food and watched the tv programmes. Haha...and I have learnt to marinate chicken, which turned out to be quite good. Anyway, some of them had also went to the gym and cycled at the nearby park. And as the night approached, the guys started up the barbecue fire while the girls laid out the food on the table. Well, everything turned out as great.

However, I didn't stay overnight as I got to go home to do my schoolwork. It's quite a pity. But I believe there'll be more such nice gatherings ahead. Haha...ok, I shan't mention much more. I got to go and take a rest. Happy birthday to myself again!

Haha, I have done quite a lot over the last weekend as Vesak's Day falls on a Friday this year. So I got to have 3 straight days of enjoyment and fun learning like capturing photos with fellow Photography Club friends and cooking.

Maybe you don't know about it. But I just want to let you know that I have finally joined the Photography Club. And so far it's quite a cool experience. I got to see people's beautiful photos and even see the ways other people capture the photos. Haha...of cos, there's more to come, which I think I'm going to enjoy.

Also, I went to my cousins' place with my sister to make dishes ourselves, watch Hong Kong TVB drama serials and even make fun of each other. Man...the feeling is so great as we all get lots of time to learn, understand and even help each other. Moreover, we have not so much fun together for a long time, especially our parents are not around. Sound naughty? Haha...anyway, I'm so proud of us to have successfully prepared mushroom sausage pasta, prawn salad and honey glazed chicken. And I can feel that my aunt is happy to see what we have prepared for. Oh, we have agreed that this is a prelude to our coming chalet and we shall prepare more by that time. Wow...I'm looking forward to that.

Anyway, a new week has just begun. Hopefully it will be more enjoyable than the previous weeks. Or I should say it certainly will be as I have plenty of things to look forward. Hehe...
