My visa is ready. My air ticket is ready. My passport is ready. Hmm...so I still have school briefing, examinations, Chinese New Year, and preparation of the luggage before setting off to Wuxi, China, for over 5 months. Sometimes I just can't believe that I am really doing such things to go abroad for a period of time. I mean, to actually go overseas for work or studies, or any other reasons over more than 90 days is not a common chance for everyone. Perhaps I should say you have to fight for this rare opportunity, to experience a totally new lifestyle, culture and even practices. In another words, I should really cherish this opportunity to have a better view of the world, outside my homeland.

Anyway, in case you are yet to be informed, I'll be flying on March 1's morning via Changi Terminal 2. Yup, it's slightly later than expected due to the Chinese New Year travel peak period, while many will be flying back to Shanghai, or via Shanghai to study, work and for any other reasons. Well, that's not a problem cos' other than my trip partner, I have 3 other fellow schoolmates taking the same flight with. So to look after one another in foreign land becomes a very important thing to take note, and remember.

So, if you want to send me off on that day, do contact me for further details about my flight. And so, you can have breakfast with me before I am to proceed to the immigration gates. At this moment, my Dad is on the confirmed list to be joining me for breakfast before flying. Haha...that's b'cos he will be sending me by his car to the airport on that day. And how about you? Tell me asap.

After so many days of slogging, now I finally can feel much eased, less stressed. The reason behind the slogging is that I have plenty of tests, projects, viva, presentations and even things to do for my upcoming oversea trip lining up in my schedule. Hence, the amount of time to rest and relax will be affected, making me tired and even uptight at times. I seriously want to apologise to anybody who has been affected by my busy schedule.

Anyway, I have just received my debit card, which I have applied on the previous Tuesday. It's rather more nice in appearance than as advertised. Perhaps the bank has just made a slight change to its design. No matter how beautiful it is, it's important that it is of great help when I'm to be in overseas. It's partly because any subsidy from my school will be credited to this debit card's bank account.

And because of receiving the debit card, I found that there's some tear and insufficient space on my current wallet. Hmm...I think I'll try to hunt down for a new one from now onwards and before flying. And, plus, I might consider to get a spare pair of spectacles. Okay, maybe I can simply use the upcoming Chinese New Year as a reason to change the old and torn into the brand new. Haha...then I'll be feeling less guility while spending money on these two items.

Even though there's still some time before flying, Jason has started hunting for air tickets as by the time when we need to fly is actually a peak season for travelling. And he is quite right about it when he went asking a few travel agencies. Then, he approached to the school coordinator to see what can be done when all the flights on those specific dates are fully booked. So after discussing with our respective companies, we are allowed to fly on a later date, which we can get our air tickets flying there.

So to play safe, we have now made the booking with a travel agency. However, some of us will still keep a lookout over this weekend if we can get anything better than what we have. If yes, we shall all jump to that. If not, we shall stick to the original plan. Well, most importantly, we are to fly to our destination on time.

By the way, I have bought a new daypack, which I have planned to place my laptop, digital camera and other personal items in. And it actually will be in good use when I am to fly as it is certainly a good and common choice for a hand-carry baggage. Haha, I must say that I am happy to get it under the salesperson's guidance, with 20% price discount.

Ok, I'll have to go and rest now before going down to several travel agencies later to check out the air tickets, as promised. May I have a nice and fruitful weekend ahead.
