Time has passed by fast. And I have finally graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic on last Thursday. I must say that I really thank the Polytechnic for giving me the opportunity to pursue the diploma back in two years ago. Also, some teaching staff who I have known from my Division, including the Course Manager, deserve the credit for guiding and encouraging me over the past two years. Of course, friends I have known and worked with during the Polytechnic years have been helpful and cooperative to make quality assignments and projects possible to be done within the time limit. Haha...so, what else can I say? I just love Ngee Ann Polytechnic. And I am really proud to be part of it.
![]() But my learning journey is not just stopping here. The local universities have already opened their arms to welcome me to commence my undergraduate studies. And I feel really fortunate to be able to go on with my studies. Haha...so, be sure to catch me in university campus soon.

It's already a week since my sister returned from her Tokyo holiday trip. And from what she said, Tokyo seems really great to travel. Hmm...so, I guess Tokyo deserves to be included to the list of destinations I would like to go in the near future. But do remember that one has to prepare quite an amount of money before setting off to Tokyo. Tokyo ain't cheap to live in. Anyway, I still would like to give you some peek of what my sister has got from the trip.
![]() ![]() Also, it was my birthday on last Friday. And I didn't really make special plans for myself. Yes, I still worked on that day before joining my parents to have dinner at Cafe Cartel. Honestly, I am not a fan of Cafe Cartel. But I thought that agreeing with my parents to dine at Cafe Cartel is just fine with me as there is quite a wide variety available at it. Well, the dinner went fine with plenty of chats, and we were super-bloated when we left the cafe. And I am guilty to eat too much for that dinner. I really should not have done so. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As for the dinner just now, I must say that I also had a heavy meal. Okay, I actually joined my cousins, Jasmine and Jessie, to dine at Soup Kitchen. To my surprise, Soup Kitchen can serve quite a decent and simple local Chinese cuisine. Haha...then again, we were all too full after the meal. Oh, Jessie and I gotta thank Jasmine for treating us such a nice cosy dinner. Get this, Jasmine? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, I guess I need to stop here as I got some private things to do now. And I really look forward to the new week. Don't you?

Suddenly, I realised that life can be so fragile. One's life can easily be taken away, without you even noticing that it's coming. Hmm...my best pal's beloved mother has just left us this morning. And I was only informed in the early afternoon with a big "what?! I don't believe it...". I really don't know what to say now. I am speechless. Really. I know how my pal is feeling now. Everything had been too sudden. But...you just can't stop it when it's time.
Anyway, I hereby would like to sincerely salute to my best pal's mother. She has done a great job to me by bringing my pal sound and safe to this world back in 22 years ago. And that then brings about this friendship of ours. As for the future, I can say that she does not have to worry as my pal is a strong-willed person. I have absolute faith in her. Of course, as a close friend, I feel that I have the duty to keep her company, letting her to know that she is never less loved. And that's promised. Okay, I shan't say more about this issue. Hmm...some things are better to be kept in heart. And I know that very well.

Oh my goodness, I am offered with NUS Undergraduate Scholarship and Nanyang Scholarship by National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) respectively! Yes, till now, I still can't really believe that I am actually given with such a great academic honour behind my name. Me being a scholar? Wow, that sounds kinda flattering and unreal. But the fact is that I am really going to be one in my university. Oh my goodness, this is crazy...damn crazy...
So, now the question of which university I am going in the next three years has turned to be ever more complicated. What I am offered by both universities have been too attractive. I can't really make up my mind. And as far as I know, only Xing Qi, Marilyn and Sharon are my only friends who are offered with scholarships. I wonder how they have done so in making decision to whether or not accept the scholarship and its terms and conditions. Okay, I guess I should consider to take a day off from work for next week. I really need to go back to my polytechnic and seek advice from my lecturers. And that's mainly because I am only given about 10 days to make up my mind over this issue! So, wish me luck again.

It's already after noon. And I am not planning anything for myself, other than being concentrated on the question whether National University of Singapore (NUS) or Nanyang Technological University (NTU) will be a better choice for me. Well, nobody actually can help me with such a sophisticated question. It's more like a personal question, whereby self-caution will be necessary. So, good luck to me.
Anyway, as it's my turn to rest on a Saturday, I made an effort to drop by a MacDonald outlet this morning to have the brand-new MacGriddles breakfast set. Haha...it's really one long-awaited breakfast as MacDonald's recent TV commercials have really driven my curiosity high. Also, at times, the current hot weather has discouraged me to go outdoor and sweat. So, after enjoying the breakfast, I thought that it's just alright. Perhaps I don't like maple syrup as it looks like some potential cause for tooth decay. Still, the visit can be considered as worthwhile. Haha...and I thought because it's more like a de-stressing session, rather than a stomach-filling exercise. ![]() ![]() Now, I no longer crave for this new dish by MacDonald. My curiosity is answered. Everything is back to normal. And I am glad about that. Cheers.

Oh yeah, it's finally the month of May. The wait for this moment seems to be longer than it really is. Perhaps my mind and soul are hinting that I should really consider for a short holiday after mid July. Haha...if that's the exact intention, I am most willing to cooperate and work on it.
Anyway, in case you are actually not aware, this month is going to be eventful for me. I gotta make critical decision, which will bring on new starts, new targets and new challenges. I will soon be handed with new recognition, which will bring me to a new level for another. Haha...even without doing a single thing, I will also be brought to new awareness and new spirit. But don't get me wrong here. I am not complaining. I really look forward to these. Really. At the meantime, I realised that to enjoy myself is very important. That's because I expect myself to be soon buried with books, assignments, projects and presentations. And it's going to be three solid years of such situation. No regret. I just have to go on and on. Hahaha...I shan't say much more. Time seems precious to be wasted now.
