If you have been reading newspapers the last few days, you may have known about this news: Prince Joachim & Princess Alexandra of Denmark are set to divorce. it's quite shocking for me cos' I never expect my instincts are so accurate that this royal couple's marriage has been on the rocks. Somemore, they have chosen the divorce as the solution to their nearly 9 years marriage. So their 'fairytale' story will just end in at least 6 months's time (as according to Danish Law, you have to seperate for 1 year to get a divorce).

This divorce is a straight contrast to Prince Joachim's brother, Crown Prince Frederik, marrying Crown Princess Mary Donaldson four months ago. This divorce is not explained with any official reasons. So some people suspect that the reason for this divorce may be linked with Prince Joachim recently becoming fond of fast cars, soccer, wild parties & beautiful ladies. So it seems like guys are at fault again. Why I say so? Look at Prince Charles, Prince Andrew & David Beckham yourself. Men easily stray & get tempted by new excitements. Am I right?

In whatever is the case, it's still good to know that they will share the responsibility of bringing up their 2 sons: Prince Nikolai (born in 1999) and Prince Felix (born in 2002). I guess this is so not to let their sons to be affected by their own problems in marriage. But the details are not reviewed to the public. So there's still worries about the young princes' upbringing & future. Knowing well about Danish royal house, they will try to get the best solution for Prince Joachim & his family.
