Just returned from a Chinese restaurant to celebrate my sister's Lunar birthday. This time is really special cos' my parents invited my sister's boyfriend, Jia Fu, to come along to have a meal with my family.

At first, when my parents met Jia Fu, the situation was quite weird. Nobody sort of dared to talk to one another. Silence was among the 5 persons. Then, we got distracted with the arrival of the food & people around us. This was when my parents started to have some response. Well, they just told Jia Fu to eat more and also sometimes got some food on his plate. Other than these, they also talked with him about his military career & his home (nothing to do with his family, just his residence!). Finally, we left the place with stomaches full and kind exchange of words. My sister & Jia Fu then went on their date to catch a film (I heard!) & so on. My parents sent me home before visiting my aunt who is selling her products at Tiong Bahru Shopping Centre.

Well, this is what I can say. Jia Fu seems to get into my parents' good books. Hmm...I wonder what will happen if I also got a boyfriend in the future. Scary...
