Was just watching Cheer Chen's latest compilation VCD. It's really nice, especially the cuts from her Groupies concert in Taiwan. Hmm..hoping that she can have a mini concert here in Singapore. Argh...Esplanade. Oh...man I want to see her playing the guitar with her band live, unplugged. Price? No prob.

Ah har, I discover that the John Mayer & Cheer Chen I have preferred for choice of music are two of the same kind. They are no 'empty vessel' idols like Spears. Neither are they music 'spoon-fed' babies like 5566. They are the real music talents. They play simple but amazing music with just guitar & sometimes bass & wind instruments. They are considered as folk-rock music performers. They start their music career at underground pubs. They are the ones who make me to have the urge to learn playing guitar & drums.

Oops..forget to add that I actually bought Cheer Chen's latest compilation. Ok, got to watch the English show, "Coupling", at Central.
