It's the Reds' renaissance! Rafael Benítez has successfully brought Liverpool triumph in UEFA Champion League 2005 final, which is also the 50th European Champion Clubs' Cup final. I guess nobody could believe that a team which is sunk in the first half by three goals is to come back in just 6 fatal minutes with 3 goals & win in the end. People who have faith in AC Milan will have been damn disappointed as they thought just now they are going to have the trophy back easily like what they did two years ago against fellow Italian club, Juventus. But hey, Rafael Benítez is the master of great tactics. Even the Special One, José Mourinho, also has fallen into his trap.

Now Liverpool FC's superlative victory against AC Milan has caught the imagination of the European media, with one German paper calling it the greatest ever UEFA Champions League final, and others in agreement that this was a throwback to the golden days of the European Champion Clubs' Cup. Wow...to me, it's absolutely true. This match is simply astonishing, unbelievable, bewildering, sensational. Perhaps an even greater upset than Manchester United's last-gasp victory against Bayern Munich in the 1999 final. Hail to Liverpool...it contrived to manufacture the most amazing European Cup showpiece since the days of Puskas, Di Stefano and all the other greats of a black-and-white age. Liverpool knocked off Juventus, Chelsea and AC Milan throughout this season. Totally amazing as they emerge to be victors from underdogs.
