I was attending the wedding banquet of my cousin, Charles, & his wife, Amy, at Singapore Yacht Club. Goodness, Singapore Yacht Club is really a rich-man club. The yachts of all sizes are parked all around, whether in waters or on ground. There's also expensive restaurants around.
Ok, talking about the wedding banquet, I think I'm a bit out of place. Amy's relatives & friends, mainly rich Indo-Chineses, are dressed in smart formal clothing, whether is it tie & suit, classy night gown & Indo-traditional clothing (should be called Batek). Err...Charles' side are less formal than Amy's side. Hmm...I should say there's a big difference. Anyway, this wedding banquet is held at the foreshore of ths club. I will say the ambience is great with yachts beautifully floated in waters. Oh...there's also a mobile trio band walking around to play any nice songs you wish. In short, the wedding banquet is more Westernised than the usual ones. Hmm...pretty good idea to have a wedding banquet in this way. Looking my cousin putting so much effort in planning his wedding, I wonder who can come out with better wedding ideas & have it done out. Hmm...maybe my other rich cousins, May Leng & Gek Leng.
