It’s been a long time since I last blogged. For your information, the local week-long Labour Day (also known as Wu Yi Lao Dong Jie) has just gone by. And I only managed to visit Yangzhou during this long break. This is all thanks to Daisy, who had asked me to come along, as my partner refused to go out on such a long break. Okay, he is simply a miser.

Anyway, Yangzhou is rather a perfect place to view southern Jiangsu style, which will let one indulge into a poetic mood. Everything there seems much more relaxing than in Shanghai, and even Wuxi. Haha…I guess I have such impression as I got to see numerous small teahouses and typical southern Jiangsu scenery along Yangzhou’s streets. And I had even tried Yangzhou’s famous fried rice, though it gives me slight disappointment for being too oily with an unfamiliar taste. However, I have not regretted to visit one of China's best 'classic' cities as I doubt to have so much opportunity to go to Yangzhou by myself in the future.

Oh, it’s currently less than a week to the day where I am to meet my family and cousin in town, followed by in Shanghai. I must say that as the days draw nearer, I find myself feeling happier. I guess that’s b’cos I have not seen them for over two months. And I also can’t wait to get the essential items I asked them to bring over. Moreover, it’s my birthday week they are here with me, the happy birthday girl. We’ll be nearer together on that very week, looking at the same sky. Haha… how nice it is.

Okay, I have to go off to have a rest. It’s another working day tomorrow. And I promise to have more interesting contents in weeks to come. Cheers.
