Recently, I have been so indulged in Peggy Hsu's long-awaited new album, "Peggy's Wish Box", or a.k.a. "Xu Yan He". Do you still remember Peggy Hsu? She's the singer who released her debut album in 2001 with "Qi Qiu", "Bai Se Huen Li", "Chang Tou Fa" as the hits. Back then, she had received several recognition for her talents to write and compose songs. Her future then was predicted to be bright and hopeful. However, due to contract problems, she actually failed to release new albums for the past six years. However, if you are the one who carefully read the lyrics' credits, you should have realised that Peggy didn't refuse to let her love for music die off by writing songs or involving in music production for artistes like Evonne Hsu, Gigi Leung, Joi Chua, Fish Leong, Twins, Genie Chuo etc.
Despite that, she never gives up the idea of singing her own songs to the world. Now her dream has come alive! She's like a mighty little lion, who just wakes up from deep sleep. All the songs in this album are so personal. Light and close to you. I'm sure you will love the whole album, like I do. And you will listen to it over and over again, without getting sick. ![]() For your information, she actually had gone through slight depression during these past six years due to lack of opportunity to release more new albums. Hmm...that sounds like another preferred singer of mine, Cheer Chen. Anyway, I have faith in Peggy and Cheer to soar higher in time to come in this music industry. God will certainly bless these talented ladies.
