There goes the National Day holiday. And as wished, I stayed at home the whole day, without even going out to grab a copy of the Straits Times. Does it sound silly to some of you out there? Hmm, I really wonder.
But, seriously, I was trying to let my body recover and also experimenting to make some simple dishes to fill up my hunger. In the end, I did manage to do so with what I got at home, like butter roll buns, spam, cheese, eggs etc. Wah, I felt real sinful after eating what I had prepared. So, my advice to you when it comes to self-cooking is to stick to one dish, and don't get over-excited. Okay, I have learnt the lesson. One dish is the food policy I am going to stick with from now onwards. Haha, please wish me luck and determination for that. Oh, before I forget and the clock is to strike at twelve, let me wish 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' to the place I call home. And if you happen to have a drink in your hand now, raise it and cheer with me. Cheers, Singapore. ![]()
